The treatment process for retinal detachment caused by eye trauma includes:
Special reminder: If the retina falls off, it is necessary to undergo a reduction surgery as soon as possible. The earlier (preferably within 3 days), the better the recovery. Prolonged delay may lead to blindness
Due to external trauma, the retina detached from the eye. On July 12, 2022, surgery was performed at Beijing Tongren Hospital (on the 5th day after the eye injury, the left eye was first performed), followed by the right eye on the 9th day. Both vitreous bodies were removed, silicone oil was filled in the eyes, and the retina was restored.
After the first month of surgery, a visual acuity test was performed, and the right eye was able to reach 0.8 (exactly the same as before the surgery)
After another month, the visual acuity was checked again and found to be 0.6. At this point, the attending physician believed that there was silicone oil in the eye, which was normal, but in fact, this was a real decline in vision. Then, the visual acuity decreased sharply, and before the silicone oil was removed, the visual acuity in the right eye was 0.2, and the left ciliary retina was damaged, with a visual acuity of 0.1
After 6 months, remove the right eye first, and after about 1 week, remove the silicone oil from the left eye.
Now, wearing a 600 degree reading glasses (because both lenses have been replaced with artificial lenses, it is inconvenient to see far, but when looking close, enlarging the font can avoid strong visibility)
When can the retina be completely restored or undergo a shift? I'm so looking forward to it.
Because now, even people 3 meters away cannot recognize who it is
How to work, how to earn money, life is full of huge challenges
